Succulent Cross Stitch Pattern

A beautiful succulent cross stitch pattern with cacti and succulents in creative planters! Part of a set of three creative cactus designs I have created, all three in the set use the same DMC colours and either individually or together, make an effective wall garden.

This succulent cross stitch pattern features brightly coloured succulents and cacti and is the third design in my cactus cross stitch pattern set. If you’re looking for a modern cross stitch or even a Mexican cross stitch, this is a modern addition to your vertical wall garden! The cross stitch plants and pots are extra exciting in this one, with inspiration taken from Mexican and Himalyan swatches and a chevron style. Put this botany cross stitch in a decorative embroidery frame and it will fit perfectly in a 6” hoop when stitched on 14 count Aida.

This is an intermediate plant cross stitch pattern as there are lots of small patches of colour and minor backstitching. Included are instructions on dyeing white or cream Aida fabric to a darker colour using a common household ingredient, so the white stands out more (just like the photo). If you want the frame to look like the one in the photo, please purchase our popular frame wrapping tutorial separately, for complete step-by-step instructions in a full colour photo PDF.

There are three cactus patterns in this set, so you can get the other two in this shop or purchase all three patterns here and save!
