MODERN CROSS STITCH PATTERNS – SUCCULENTS AND CACTUS
This set of modern cross stitch patterns are ideal to get your craft juices going! Featuring Mexican style cross stitch cactus and succulents, you’ll be able to embroider a wall garden that will look stunning and require no watering or maintenance. There are three succulent modern cross stitch patterns in the set and they are easy to make, with lots of bright colours. If you like cacti or succulents, you’ll like these cross stitch designs as the creator is a succulent and cactus addict.
Add a decorative embroidery frame tutorial for the finishing touch (it explains how to make the nice frames). All of the patterns will fit perfectly in a 6” hoop when stitched on 14 count Aida. Only basic cross stitch materials are required to make this set, so it isn’t too expensive to create.
Please note that this pattern is best done by an intermediate level cross stitcher and is not suitable as a very first cross stitch project, as there are lots of small patches of colour and minor backstitching. It is OK for people who have done a couple of cross stitches or more. Included are instructions on dyeing white or cream Aida fabric to a darker colour using a common household ingredient, so the white stands out more (just like the photo).
If you want the frame to look like the one in the photo, please purchase our popular frame wrapping tutorial separately, for complete step-by-step instructions in a full colour photo PDF.
