CROSS STITCH CACTUS PATTERN – MEXICAN
This Mexican inspired cross stitch cactus pattern features brightly coloured succulents and cacti and is the second part of my cacti creations set. If you’re looking for a Mexico cross stitch pattern or even a succulent cross stitch, this is a modern addition to your wall garden! The planter boxes are particularly interesting in this one, as there’s geometrical and chevron patterns on them. Put this cactus cross stitch in a decorative embroidery frame and it will fit perfectly in a 6” hoop when stitched on 14 count Aida.
This is an intermediate pattern as there are lots of small patches of colour and minor backstitching. Included are instructions on dyeing white or cream Aida fabric to a darker colour using a common household ingredient, so the white stands out more (just like the photo). Please note this is a cross stitch pattern in PDF format only and no fabric, DMC floss or other materials are included in the listing. If you want the frame to look like the one in the photo, please purchase our popular frame wrapping tutorial separately, for complete step-by-step instructions in a full colour photo PDF.
