NO. 2 FLOATING ISLAND STEAMPUNK CROSS STITCH PATTERN
This fantasy or sci fi counted steampunk cross stitch pattern is perfect as a DIY gift for a geek or nerd looking for an unusual Avatar world style art embroidery project. With a hint of steampunk, this floating island world adds colour and interest to any wall! The pattern features a miniature world landscape with an OK blimp, villages, trees, clouds with ladders and cute birds, a mini mountain and flag. You’ll be delighted with this original miniature world! The design fits perfectly inside a 6” hooped embroidery frame when made with 14 count Aida.
Please note there are two floating island world patterns like this in the series and they both use the same DMC colours (Floating Island #1 and Floating Island #2 patterns). This pattern is classed as intermediate/advanced due to patience being required when working with a lot of colours in small spaces.
This pattern has minimal backstitching on the on the blimp flag and no half stitches. Included are very simple and easy instructions on how to use a common household ingredient to dye white or cream Aida to be darker, so the white in the pattern will stand out. Please note this is a cross stitch pattern in PDF format only and no fabric, DMC floss or other materials are included in the listing.
