GINGERBREAD MAN CROSS STITCH PATTERN
This gingerbread man cross stitch pattern reminds you of a golliwog, a Shrek character and a traditional snack all rolled into one. It’s an interesting DIY gift or Xmas decoration. Ideal for beginners looking for easy décor patterns or Christmas crafts. You’ll find this design a chirpy addition to your Christmas cross stitch collection! The gingerbread man is complete with chequered bow tie, Gingie-type mouth and eyebrows, icing decorated arms and legs and currant black buttons. It’s set on a golden biscuit base with some German inspired Christmas heart ribbon.
The finished piece fits exactly into a 6” hooped embroidery frame (as pictured) when stitched on 14 count Aida. There are no backstitches or half stitches. Instructions on dyeing white or cream Aida fabric using a common household ingredient is included in the PDF pattern. Please note this is a cross stitch pattern in PDF format only. No fabric, DMC floss or other materials are included in the listing. If you want the frame to look like the one in the photo, please purchase our popular frame wrapping tutorial separately, for complete step-by-step instructions in a full colour photo PDF.
