GINGERBREAD HOUSE CROSS STITCH PATTERN
This Christmas gingerbread house cross stitch pattern is designed in a German folk style and makes a bright wall decoration when stitched on a navy Aida background. The pattern comes as a counted cross stitch chart and makes a great Xmas craft or DIY holiday gift. Featuring a white icing roof, detailed windows, mini Christmas trees, holly smoke coming out of the chimney and a white dove on the roof, the finished piece fits into a 6” hoop when stitched on 14 count Aida.
Only minimal backstitch is required on the windows and there are no half stitches. It’s a fairly easy one to stitch, with only six DMC floss colours, though it is recommended you work with the navy Aida in daylight for best results. Please note this is a counted cross stitch pattern in PDF format only and no fabric, DMC floss or other materials are included in the listing. If you want the frame to look like the one in the photo, please purchase our popular frame wrapping tutorial separately, for complete step-by-step instructions in a full colour photo PDF.
